CrossCheck

Keep every crossing record in one place. CrossCheck is desktop software for ground disturbance and damage prevention coordinators. Keep crossing locations, locate tickets, contacts, agreements, field updates, history and notes in one local project. Use a familiar table to see what needs attention. Click a crossing on the map to read its details, then return to its table row. Review incoming KML or KMZ changes before applying them. Export KML for Google Earth or CSV when you need to share the work. New Windows portable update Version 1.0.2-rc.3-native.1 is an unsigned Windows x64 portable Early Access release. Extract the entire ZIP to a writable folder, then double-click Start CrossCheck.cmd. Keep the complete extracted folder together. No Node.js or Python installation is required. The launcher keeps its profile beside the app, separate from the installed edition. Your project data stays in the project folders you select. Close CrossCheck, back up projects independently, and read UPDATE-AND-ROLLBACK.txt before using an update with live records. Never open the same project in two running CrossCheck processes. The update includes improvements to restore recovery and feedback, access to Attention at narrow window widths, and the import-mapping dialog. Older ambiguous restore safety folders may be blocked deliberately. Recover interrupted restores with this successor before returning to an older app; retain the safety files and contact support when needed. Downloads — choose your platform and release New: Windows x64 portable Early Access v1.0.2-rc.3-native.1 — ZIP, 188,965,634 bytes. Retained: Windows installer v1.0.1 — existing ZIP, 121.9 MB as previously listed. Retained: Mac v1.0.0 universal — existing DMG, 265.8 MB as previously listed. This update changes the Windows portable download only. The existing Windows installer and Mac release are not updated or newly qualified. The new portable ZIP contains no installer. Clean-machine/SmartScreen behavior and installer upgrade, uninstall and rollback are not newly qualified. Local projects, professional responsibility The default point map does not load online street-map tiles. If you choose the optional online base map, OpenFreeMap receives normal network information and the area being viewed. Crossing-record fields stay in the local project. CrossCheck does not encrypt project data or provide cloud synchronization. CrossCheck does not locate utilities, connect directly to One Call, certify compliance, approve permits or excavation, or replace professional judgment. Verify imported records, exported outputs and independent backups before relying on them. Physical power-loss recovery and concurrent project access are not guaranteed. Unsigned Early Access The Windows app is unsigned. Windows may show a warning or block launch. Compare the official download with its published SHA-256 and follow your organization's installation policy. Do not disable security controls. Contact support if launch is blocked. The separate retained Mac app is ad-hoc signed and not Apple-notarized; it is not a new Mac release. Existing purchase terms One-time purchase · One coordinator · Unlimited local projects · All 1.x updates included · 14-day good-faith refund policy. The included CrossCheck EULA remains unchanged, including use on one active computer at a time and the existing Early Access update terms.
